In Europe cofiring is well-established due to strong policy and regulatory support and Asia now has the huge potential for cofiring. The 9th Cofiring Workshop, hosted by the IEA Clean Coal Centre, will showcase the latest topics on this and provide an insight in to the Asian market. The workshop will take place in Kitakyushu, Japan, in February 2020.
IBTC Director, Michael Wild, will also present, providing an insight into the torrefaction and carbonisation status of the sector. Michael, will also highlight the current trends within the market and will focus particularly on the East Asian market.
